STAY CONNECTED WITH US!
We want to keep you in the loop of what’s going on at Churchill Baptist! In the coming days, we are going to be increasingly relying on TEXT MESSAGES to keep our church family up-to-date and informed.  If you would like to receive TEXT MESSAGES from us, text CONNECT to 210-796-9800.  There will be a brief one-minute form for you to fill out.  This will also help us to easily update our church records.  If you have any questions, you can contact the church office or you can send an email to: churchill@churchillbaptist.org
Help us keep you in the loop!

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Table Talk
Discussion questions for your family about today’s message from God’s Word.

1.  The current pandemic began as a crisis event.  It is now, for many people, evolving into a grief event. Grief is a response to loss in someone’s life, and those losses may take many forms.  Discuss with your family the many kinds of losses that are causing people to grieve today.
2.  In the book of Lamentations, Jerusalem is often portrayed as a grieving widow, weeping for her children.  Discuss with your family what you think it would have been like to have been a child during the siege and fall of Jerusalem. Why do you think this book is in the Bible?  It is only five chapters long.  Have you ever read it?
3.  Jeremiah takes us into the world of grief of those who suffered Jerusalem’s fall.  One of the themes of chapter one is that Jerusalem had no comforters, and her friends had become enemies.  Why is it so hard for grieving people to accept comfort from others? Why is it important to give people space to grieve?
