LET'S WORSHIP TOGETHER ONLINE
Our pre-recorded service will once again be available to watch online. You can find the link in this email, through our church website, church app or you can search for us on YouTube.

For the present time, our outdoor/drive-up services have been suspended in light of the dangerous spike in COVID-19 cases in San Antonio. Area hospitals are under severe stress and are nearing capacity due to the exponential spread of the coronavirus. We have received a letter from Keith Bruce, Vice President for Mission and Ministry of Baptist Hospital system, encouraging churches to continue to refrain from meeting together physically for the present time in an attempt to curb the tremendous stress on hospital resources due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Let us continue to pray for all of the medical professionals and first responders who are daily putting themselves at risk to care for others during this crisis. Let us continue to encourage one another and "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Sermon: "Known to God" (2 Corinthians 5:11-14)
We live in an age of constant criticism where critics are often emboldened by social media. Even Christians who seek to minister to others in Jesus' name will be the targets of criticism. The message from 2 Corinthians 5:11-14 will explore encouraging biblical truths that can help us stay motivated for ministry in the face of criticism.

Click on the link below to watch the worship service online. The link will be active on Sunday, July 12 by 10:30 a.m.!

Table Talk
Discussion questions for your family about today's message from God's Word.

1. Why do you think people criticize one another? How do you feel when someone criticizes you? Do you think social media has added fuel to the fires of criticism? Why would this be so?

2. We typically think of the Apostle Paul as one of the great heroes of the Bible. Does it surprise you to know that he was the target of frequent criticism from other believers? What did Paul's critics have to say about him?

3. Paul stayed motivated for ministry in the face of criticism by remembering that he was accountable to the Lord and not to men. What happens if we forget this? Paul also drew strength from the fact that his calling and his identity in Christ were known to God. Do you realize that you are a spiritual billionaire in Christ? How can this help you cope with criticism?
