STORYTIME WITH MS. STEPHANIE
Due to the filming of Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School we are unable to provide new videos for Storytime with Ms. Stephanie right now. We will start again shortly, but in the meantime, you could go back and re-read some earlier books that you enjoyed. VBS will be starting on July 27 and we are very excited to share that with you. Just so you know, in a few weeks we will continue our Bible Adventures and some of our future books will be:

"Mice and Beans" (guest reader Linsay Humphrey), "Interrupting Chicken", "We're going on a Bear Hunt", and "Jabari Jumps".

JOIN US FOR WORSHIP ONLINE, THIS SUNDAY, JULY 19
This Sunday, July 19, we will focus on "The Love of Christ" as we continue our study from 2 Corinthians 5 entitled, "Good Courage: Eternal Realities to Strengthen Your Faith." In this week's message, we will consider how the love of Christ reorients our entire lives. Christ's love frees us from living only for ourselves so that we can truly live for Jesus! OUR PRE-RECORDED SERVICE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE AVAILABLE SUNDAY AT 10:30 A.M. THROUGH OUR WEBSITE, THE CHURCH APP, AND ON YOUTUBE.

For the present time, our outdoor/drive-up services have been suspended in light of the dangerous spike in COVID-19 cases in San Antonio. Area hospitals are under severe stress and are nearing capacity due to the exponential spread of the coronavirus. The Baptist Hospital system is continuing to encourage churches to refrain from meeting together physically for the present time in an attempt to curb the tremendous stress on hospital resources due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Let us continue to pray for all of the medical professionals and first responders who are daily putting themselves at risk to care for others during this crisis. Let us face these days with good courage and remember that Jesus taught that we "ought always to pray and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1).

Sermon: "The Love of Christ" (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
The Apostle Paul declared, "The love of Christ controls us?." In this message from 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, we celebrate the wonder of being able to truly say "Jesus loves me." We will discover how this simple truth can revolutionize the way we live.

Click on the link below to watch the worship service online. The link will be active on Sunday, July 19 by 10:30 a.m.!

Table Talk
Discussion questions for your family about today's message from God's Word.

1. Sing "Jesus Loves Me" together with your family. What are some of the ways that we know Jesus loves us? How does the cross reveal Christ's love for us most clearly? Read Romans 8:37-39. Give thanks to the Lord that nothing can separate us from His love.

2. The Apostle Paul declared, "Christ's love controls us?." Discuss what this means with your family. If our lives are not controlled by the love of Christ, we will end up living for ourselves. Why is this a miserable way to live?

3. Christ died for us that we might live for Him. One woman told her Pastor, "I began to follow Christ, feeling that I would have to do all the things that were contrary to my desires, but now I do what I want every day because the Lord has made me pleased with the things that please Him!" Discuss this with your family.
