JOIN US FOR WORSHIP IN-PERSON OR VIA LIVESTREAM THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4!
How great it has been to be able to worship together in the house of the Lord once again! We will once again worship in-person this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. as we continue our study from the Psalms entitled "Great is the Lord!" This week Psalm 97 reminds us that "The Lord Reigns!" When we truly grasp the implications of this great truth, it will revolutionize the way we live. Join us for this great study on Sunday!

For those who are unable to attend in person, our livestream service begins at 10:40 a.m. on YouTube and on our church Facebook page. The entire service will also be viewable on YouTube and Facebook after the livestream has ended. (You can also access the service through our website at churchillbaptist.org or through the Churchill app.) If you have a Facebook account and have "liked" our page, Facebook will send out a push notification when we go LIVE! You will also be able to "share" the post with your friends on Facebook.

Pastor Neil's Sermon: Psalm 97 boldly declares that "The Lord Reigns!" In this message we discover that this truth is wonderfully good news for God's people. Because the Lord rules and reigns over all things, Christians should be people of bright hopes and bold prayers!

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES ARE CONTINUING TO SCHEDULE IN-PERSON GATHERINGS AT VARIOUS TIMES
It is not yet possible for all classes to gather simultaneously on Sundays, but our largest rooms are being made available at various times throughout the week to allow classes to meet while wearing masks and observing social distance. Check with your Sunday School class leaders for details!

RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING ORDINATION FOR ABRAHAM VELAZQUEZ AND RICH GAVIN
The Pastor and Deacons unanimously recommend that Churchill Baptist Church ordain Abraham Velazquez and Rich Gavin to the gospel ministry! This recommendation will be voted on by the church in a called business session at the end of both morning worship services on Sunday, October 11. Abraham Velazquez has served our church well as Minister to Students, and Rich Gavin has been serving as a Chaplain at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital while completing his clinical pastoral education degree. Both of these men have demonstrated God's calling upon their lives and have shown outstanding giftedness for ministry.

The purpose of this prayer focus is to seek the face of God that He might heal our land.
