Churchill Baptist is a church that loves children. We believe that God wants us to encourage children to come to His house and be a part of his family. To that end, we provide activities for children of all ages. The following is a schedule of some of our regularly scheduled programs for children.
SUNDAY:
9:30 AM Bible Study
The Rock ~ rotational workshop Sunday School for children in 1st - 4th grades.
Preteen Sunday School~ Bible study experience for 5th & 6th grades.
Preschool Sunday School ~ hands-on, active learning for infants through Kindergartners.
10:40 AM Worship Service
Wee Worship ~ for ages 0 through kinder. Extended learning opportunity utilizing stories, games and art.
5:00 PM
Faith Factor ~ Discipleship training for pre-teens (5th & 6th grades).
6:00 PM
Children’s Choir ~ a music and education ministry designed for children from 4 years old through the 4th grade. The Children’s Choir program aspires to use music to communicate God’s love.
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS:
9:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Mom’s Day Out ~ child care for infants through 2 yr.olds
Preschool ~ classes for 3 and 4 year olds, concentrating on teaching skills for Kindergarten.
WEDNESDAY:
6:15 PM
AWANA Club ~ an interactive program combining Bible memory challenges and goals with fellowship and games. This vital program introduces children from preschool through 5th grade to Christian principles and ideas.
SATURDAY:
Upward Basketball ~ Winter basketball league for 1st- 5th grade, boys & girls.
Upward Cheerleading ~ Cheerleading teams associated with basketball league for 1st - 5th grade girls.
FRIDAY: (2nd of each month)
6:30 PM
GymJam ~ for grades 1-4. Team games, music, pizza and devotionals.
Sunday School Social Night ~ for ages birth - Kindergarten. Games, crafts, movies and play.
Middle School Madness ~ for grades 5-8, games, pizza and devotionals.
SUMMER:
Vacation Bible School ~ one week in summer each year for children 4 years through 5th grade. VBS includes Bible stories, arts and crafts, games, recreation and music.
