Current Children's Letter "David & Goliath" Starts Sunday, November 4th! Hey girls and boys, The next 5 weeks we will be learning about the story of David and Goliath We will study about how Jesus is like a shepherd to us by studying the 23^rd Psalm. We will learn about David’s life as a shepherd and how God equipped him for the task of slaying Goliath. David was chosen and anointed by God and you will learn how God does not choose by outward appearance by rather by looking at your heart. Read chapter 17 of First Samuel before you come to class to get a head start on your learning. In Creation Station, we will be doing an art project to remind us of the Good Shepherd in Psalm 23. In HolyWord Studio, we will be studying about God choosing a boy named David to be King of Israel. In Praise Place, we will play a game called Zap, Slay the Giant and talk about how we need to turn our fears over to God. In Theatre on the Rock, we’ll watch a video that explains how God chooses people to serve His purposes. (we’ll have popcorn, too). We’ll be continuing our study of Bible Skills in Shalom Home so that we can improve our knowledge and use of God’s Holy Word, the Bible.
