Covid Guidelines for In-Person Worship Services

COVID GUIDELINES FOR IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICES
I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!"
(Psalm 122:1)

SERVICE TIMES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
We are offering two morning worship services with enhanced safety precautions in place.

The 8:30 a.m. service will be primarily for Senior Adults and their immediate family members and for those persons who are generally healthy but may have pre-existing medical conditions that make them somewhat more at risk for the coronavirus.

The 10:40 a.m. service will be primarily for everyone else. The 10:40 service will be livestreamed on YouTube for those who are unable to attend in person. The entire service will also be viewable on YouTube after the livestream has ended. The service can also be accessed through our website at churchillbaptist.org or through the Churchill app.

Churchill en EspaÑol will offer their worship service in the gym at 11:40 a.m.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
ALL THOSE ATTENDING BOTH SERVICES WILL BE EXPECTED TO WEAR MASKS AND OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING. MASKS SHOULD BE WORN BY ALL ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN GRADES K-12. The only exceptions will be for preschool children and persons who have a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask. The Pastor and praise team will not wear masks when they are leading in worship from the platform.

*Everyone attending services will enter from the front foyer. If others are gathered at the entrance when you arrive, please observe social distancing while waiting to be seated. Everyone will be seated by ushers on every other pew with at least six feet of distance between families.

*Hand sanitizing dispensers will be available in the foyer as you enter and exit the building.

*All surfaces in the Sanctuary, foyer, and restrooms will be sanitized before and after services. Water fountains will not be available for use.

*Collection boxes and envelopes will be placed in the foyer to receive offerings as you enter or exit the building. No offering baskets will be passed during the service.

*All hymnbooks, Bibles, and other items have been removed from the pews.

*When each service is concluded, ushers will dismiss families one row at a time. Everyone will leave the building through the foyer exit.

*Throughout the service, doors will remain open and the fans will run in order to permit maximum airflow.

*Church members are encouraged to refrain from hugging and shaking hands as you greet one another. (Try a friendly wave or an elbow bump instead!)

THE BEST TIME FOR FELLOWSHIP WILL BE WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. ONCE OUTSIDE, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO VISIT AS LONG AS YOU LIKE WHILE MAINTAINING SOCIAL DISTANCE.

CHILDCARE GUIDELINES
Childcare for in-person worship will be limited to children who are at least 18 months old and no older than 4 years. Children outside of this age bracket will need to accompany their parents to the church service.

IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP THE CHILDREN SAFE, WE ARE ASKING THAT PARENTS NOT COME INSIDE THE PRESCHOOL HALLWAY. THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE DROP OFF AND PICK UP LOCATION. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR CHILD TO THE COVERED ENTRANCE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MAIN BUILDING BEHIND THE PORTABLE.

Your child's temperature and yours will be taken before they will be admitted. One of the nursery staff will meet you, jot down your cell number in case of emergency, and escort your child to class. Please maintain social distancing while you are waiting to be checked in or returning to pick up your child.

All precautions will be taken to assure the classrooms are clean and sanitized. We will be strictly adhering to our "Wellness Policy". Any child with symptoms such as a cough or runny nose or who develops symptoms will be sent home. The children will be divided into small groups to limit their exposure to others. Hand-washing/hand sanitizer will be used throughout their time with us. Nursery staff will be wearing masks. The children will not be required to do so.
