Covid Guidelines for Sunday School & Worship

COVID GUIDELINES FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL & WORSHIP SERVICES
I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!"

Sunday School

9:30 a.m.  Sunday classes for adults, youth, children, and preschool are now meeting in person at the same hour. Masks are strongly encouraged for all adults and children over the age of 5 who have not received covid-19 vaccinations. Maintaining 3 feet of social distance is also recommended. Refreshments may be served in Sunday School, and masks are not required when eating or drinking. Spanish language Sunday School classes for Churchill en Espanol are currently meeting at 10:45 a.m.

 

Children's Ministry Guidelines

  • All classes are open.  (Babies 3 months through 5th graders)
  • Enter the building through any main door.
  • Bring your Preschooler or Kindergartener directly to their classroom.
  • Pick up your Preschooler or Kindergartener directly from their classroom.
  • Childcare will be available for Preschoolers during all worship services.  Kindergarteners will attend worship services with their parents.
  • Children, 1st through 5th graders, should be brought to bottom of the stairs at the beginning of class. 
  • Children will be held upstairs until picked up by parents after Bible Study.  Parents should come to the bottom of the stairs and children will be sent down.
  • Preschoolers/Kindergarteners will not be required to wear masks.
  • Children, 1st through 5th grade will be encouraged  to wear masks for the immediate future since they have not been vaccinated.
  • We will no longer do temperature checks.

 

Worship Services

8:30 a.m.  This service generally affords ample room for attendees to spread out and is recommended for those who may be more comfortable with greater social distancing. Seating will be available on every pew and attendees are encouraged to sit with at least 3 feet of social distance between families.  Masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals to be worn upon entering, socializing, and while singing, but may be removed during the sermon time.

The church continue will maintain enhanced ventilation and sanitize all surfaces between worship services.  Hand sanitizing stations are readily available.

CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE DURING BOTH WORSHIP SERVICES FOR INFANTS THROUGH AGE 4. 

The Spanish language worship service for Churchill en Espanol begins at 11:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center.
