Parent Seminar: “First Steps”

Campus Event: Parent/Baby Dedication.

Core Competency: The parents as the primary faith trainers of their children.

The first step on the spiritual milestone pathway is Parent/Baby Dedication. This milestone is primarily for parents who have children between birth and one year of age. Newly expecting parents also are welcome to attend. Through a 1 hour seminar, parents learn how to become the primary faith trainers for their children. Completion of the seminar is required prior to participating in the Parent/Baby Dedication ceremony. Resources and learning opportunities are provided for the new parents desiring to dedicate their child to the Lord. During the ceremony, the church body commits to partner with the parents in the faith development of their child.
